Dr. Slump is set in Penguin village, a place where humans and anthromorphic animals live together with futuristic technology. Senbei Norimaki is an inventor who attempts to build a perfect little girl robot that he names Arale. However, Arale turns out to be very high spirited and naive, causing Senbei no shortages of headaches as he chases her around on her daily adventures...
